A team of former BioShock developers impacted by the Irrational Games closure have assembled to create a new horror game called Perception.
In Perception players will take on the role of a blind woman named Cassie who has visions of a mansion located in New England which upon further research, turns out to be an abandoned estate in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The game plays out across a series of chapters from different eras, each of which explaining what terrible things happened at the mansion.
The game aims to capture a cat-and-mouse/hide-and-seek feeling; check out below video to see it for yourself:
A Kickstarter for Perception has been launched and the team is seeking $150,000.
Perception is expected to launch in 2016 on Steam with console versions possible depending on the budget.
